Letter Written in 2070: We were warned about the need to take care of our environment, but nobody bothered.

I just finished watching the TV programme (Focus 30) about how the environment has been damaged by pollution, etc. I couldn't help, but quickly put up this slide show which has been kept in my hard disk for a long time. Hope it helps the earth survives longer and healthier for our next generations to come.

Whevever, I see earthquakes, hurricanes reported in the news, it reminds me of what Bible has said about the signs at the end of days. (e.g. famines, earthquakes, and poestilences in various places.) Who knows? We might unfortunately happen to meet this greatest ever disaster where the earth will be destroyed. When this day comes, will we be able to escape it and be saved? It also leads me to ponder (as a Christian) whether I will be ready for the Day of Judgment. :)

"But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."
-- Luke 21:34-36
"Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires."
-- Rom 13:11-14
