In Pocket e-Sword, the chinese characters do NOT automatically wrap to the next line at the end/far right of my screen, how to fix the problem?

Note: You are likely to have this problem with windows mobile 5.x or newer. The following solution was shared by a blog visitor Boon S J. Thank you, Boon.

This wrap problem is very weird or complicated.  The following describe the fix for the stated models of Windows Mobile devices (Pocket PC).

  • Windows Mobile 5.0, Dell 'Axim' x51v
  • Windows Mobile 6.0, Hewlett packard 'Enterprise' iPaq 212

Windows Mobile 5.0, Dell 'Axim' x51v

  1. Remove original pocket e-sword file.
  2. Download and replace with the following.

Windows Mobile 6.0, Hewlett packard 'Enterprise' iPaq 212

No wrap around problem if using font 'sunglobe.ttf or unisun.  This is with original pocket e-sword CUV bbl file.

Last point to note

All the devices above are non cell phones.  I have once purchased a HTC hd2 windows cell phone and sold it after 3 days because it appears that capacitive screen Win mobile devices which does NOT use a stylus cannot function as a pocket e-sword bible reading tool.  I now believe no windows mobile cellular or mobile phone device will too.  I think only pure PDAs (resistive screen & stylus-based device) will work.
