Joke: The Preacher And The Music Director

There was a church where the preacher and the minister of music were not getting along. As time went by this began to spill over into the worship service.

The first week the preacher preached on commitment and how we all should dedicate ourselves to the service of God. The music director lead the song "I Shall Not Be Moved".

The second week the preacher preached on tithing and how we all should gladly give to the work of the Lord. The director lead the song "Jesus Paid It All".

The third week the preacher preached on gossiping and how we should all watch our tongues. The music director led the song "I Love to Tell the Story".

With all this going on, the preacher became very disgusted over the situation and the following Sunday told the congregation that he was considering resigning. The musician led the song "Oh Why Not Tonight?".

As it came to pass, the preacher did indeed resign. The next week he informed the church that it was Jesus who led him there and it was Jesus that was taking him away. The music leader led the song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus".

Financial Blessing from God

God desires to bless His people including financial blessing. However in Scripture we see that God has a greater purpose for this. We are not called to accumulate wealth solely for our own enjoyment per se, but to bless the poor and needy.

Love others as much as you love yourself (Matthew 22:39). If you do things in God’s will / purpose, your heavenly father will bless you in every area such as health, family and financial blessing.

Following are some financial blessing from God.

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
Proverbs 10:22

And God is able to make all grace abound towards you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8

Honour the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9–10

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.
Luke 6:38

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6–7

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
1 John 5:14–15

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John 1:2

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Matthew 7:11

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Matthew 6:31–32

… those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Psalm 34:10

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath,
Deuteronomy 28:12–13

Divine Healing Part 2 - Your faith has made you well

Divine Healing Part 1 - Miracle Healing!

Divine Healing Part 3 – Sin, Doctor, Medicine

Mar 5:34 Daughter, your faith has made you well

Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.

Mark 5:25-34

And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse. She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.

For she said, "If I touch even his garments, I will be made well." And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, "Who touched my garments?"

And his disciples said to him, "You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, 'Who touched me?'"
And he looked around to see who had done it.

But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.

And he said to her, "Daughter, your FAITH has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease."

Mar 5:34 Daughter, your faith has made you well.
Read the following frequently to claim the healing from God.
May grace and peace be yours from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Divine healing is one of the precious truths in the Bible. It is God’s salvation for mankind. The following verses tell us that the triune God is not only the Savior of our souls, but also the healer of our physical bodies.
Exo 15:26 saying, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer."

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.

Psa 103:3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,

Act 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Mat 9:35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction.

Mat 10:1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.

Mar 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

Mar 16:18 they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."

The whole Bible is a record of signs and miracles performed by God. The Old Testament tells how the LORD, the Holy Father, heal His people. In the New Testament, the four gospels talk about Jesus, the Holy Son, healing the sick. And the Acts of the apostles mentions how the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, descended from heaven after the ascension of Christ and did even greater miracles through the Christians. The early church had such transcendental powers because the apostles’ teachings were always confirmed by God’s miracles. With these miracles, unbelievers would come to know this living Christ and turn away from heresies.

God’s salvation is complete; it saves both man’s soul and body. This salvation lasts forever. Salvation and healing are inseparable, just as God and His words are inseparable. Therefore we must accept the gospel and the Bible (the word of God) in their entirety. We should NOT doubt any portion of the Bible.

Not only can believing in God’s healing release one from his physical sufferings, it can also help train one’s faith in God. When one’s faith grows firmer, he will receive more abundant grace from Him. And faith comes from hearing the word. Let me give some examples to testify to the truth of divine healing so that you may have a better understanding of God’s healing and may gain a greater faith in Him.

First, we must know that most sufferings and sickness come from devil and sins. Yet God allows sicknesses to befall us out of His love and sincerity. He wants to test and train us so that we may be edified. Satan’s plots and attacks often help to fulfil the good will of God.

Rom 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Jer 29:11 If we deal with our sins, God is always willing and able to heal all our sicknesses and save us from all sufferings (provided our appointed time of death has not yet come). He said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

亲爱主牵我手-好歌推荐 Take My Hand, Precious Lord MP3

Listen - Take My Hand, Precious Lord

词曲:陶赛, 1899-1993
Music, Lyrics: Thomas A. Dorsey, 1899-1993

Take My Hand, Blessed Lord,他与牧师再三祷告后,将Blessed Lord改为Precious Lord。这首诗被译成三十二种语文。
